The original version of Metro is a real bestseller and has been for many years. This winter we present an upgraded version, with a lovely and warm interior made of Rewool - with 30% recycled wool and 30% recycled PET.
In this luxurious version of the Metro, the water-resistant upper also comes in Nubuck leather from Nordic farms, certified by SPOOR. If you take care of them, you have a pair of winter boots that age in style and last for many years.
Under the sole there are 16 studs in carbide steel that allow you to go on your usual walks regardless of the conditions. The studs are made to endure both icy roads and many miles on asphalt.

Upper is made of DriTan™ Leather, with LWG gold standard, from Danish farms. SPOOR makes it traceable all the way back to the farm.
Midsole EVA contains 20% BLOOM® foam, which is made from algae from overgrown lakes.
The Milspeed inner heel and toe reinforcements are made of 60% recycled plastic, out of which 11-12% are recycled nylon fishing nets.
The BUGrip® outsole contains 20% recycled rubber.
Can I use studs indoors?
You should not walk onto sensitive floors with your studded Icebug boots. Don’t use them in your living room for example. But on normal shop floors (e.g., in grocery stores) they work fine, because Icebug studs flex a little into the sole when you walk on, for example, asphalt or stone. We also have the FloorSaver – a rubber cover to put on when you need to. A convenient solution if you need to go in somewhere and don't want to risk scratching the floor.
